President's Advisory Committee on Student Discipline

Purpose

The Committee is constituted to assist the President in his disciplinary decision by impartially considering allegations of misconduct against students in light of the relevant evidence presented to it and communicating its findings to the President.

Committee structure

There is a single President’s Advisory Committee on Student Discipline with membership from the Vancouver and Okanagan campuses. The Vice-chair of the committee is situated at UBC's Okanagan campus and is the contact for information relating to the functions of the Committee.

Cases that involve Okanagan campus students will be heard by a panel comprised of the Vice-Chair, faculty representatives and a student representative, and will be held on the Okanagan campus.
